The i-70 is a major Interstate Highway that travels generally in a east-west
direction thru 10 US states, those states being; Colorado,
Illinois, Indiana,
Kansas, Maryland,
Missouri, Ohio,
Pennsylvania,
Utah, and West Virginia.The i-70
roughly parallels a large part of the i-40 which runs a little further to the
south - aprox. 1 state to the south.
The city of Baltimore MD is located at it's east end ... and the historic
Cove Fort UT is located near it's west end.
The major interstate highways that intersect the i-70 include the;
i-15,
i-25,
i-35,
i-44,
i-55,
i-65,
i-71,
i-76,
i-77, and
i-81.
The i-70 covers a distance of aprox. 2,151 miles ... which can
be travelled in aprox. 35.8 hrs. with a sustained travelling speed averaging 60
miles-per-hour.
